Quilts of Valor: A 50 State Salute Book

The 50 State Salute Book explains the history of military quilts since our nation’s beginning and features a Quilt Of Valor to represent each of our 50 states. Sixteen quilt patterns are featured to choose from and to inspire you to make your own Quilt of Valor. The organization’s Under Our Wings project, which brings young people into Quilts of Valor and encourages them to learn to sew, is featured, too. The 16 quilts were displayed at the 2018 Annual Conference in South Carolina, May 19-20. They then toured at AQS shows until 2019, when they ended their journey on display at the National Quilt Museum. From there, the Quilts of Valor were awarded.
