Petty Officer 3rd Class Alan served in the United States Navy after high school. After four years in the Navy, he joined the Active Navel Reserves for the next two years.

Don joined the Navy during the Cold War in 1977. He was discharged in 1988 after sailing through the Panama Canal to Australia, Italy, France, Scotland, England, and Canada, to name a few.

Carl received his Quilt of Valor. He served four years in the United States Navy, being promoted to Petty Officer Third Class earning the rank of ETN3, with assignment to the USS Duncan-DDR874-Destroyer Radar Ship during the Vietnam War Era.

John A. served in the United States Navy in 1957. Five days after graduation, he was assigned to the USS Toledo. He deployed twice to Vietnam and patrolled above Saigon. He was awarded his Quilt of Valor and received his Vietnam Veteran Lapel Pin.
John F.
John F. enlisted in the United States Army during the Cold War in 1948. He trained as a lineman, learned Morse Code, and practiced infantry training. He served active duty until 1956.
Arthur A.
Arthur A. served for the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was awarded his Quilt of Valor and pinned with the 50th Vietnam War Commemorative Pin.

Specialist 4 Martin R. served in the United States Army, and was awarded his QOV.

Seaman RD Gregory served during the Korean Conflict and joined the United States Navy.
Chief Petty Officer Leon O.
Chief Petty Officer Leon O., who served in the United States Navy, was awarded his Quilt of Valor. He served his country stateside and on the USS Mobile LKA and the USS Iwo Jima LPH-2 for thirty years before being honorably retired.

SPC4 Frankie served seven years as an Automated Logistics Specialist in the United States Army during Operation Iraqi Freedom.

SPC5 Gary served in the United States Army as a Motion Picture Photographer for the Department of the Army Special Photographic Operations. He was stationed in Hawaii and deployed to South Vietnam, Thailand, and Korea for assignments.

The quilt design is titled, “The Final 13” and is in commemoration of the end of the Afghanistan War. The design includes 13 stars representing the service persons killed and is bordered by a pattern representing the aircraft used in the evacuation. The quilt was completed in June 2022 and presented to a 20-year Veteran of the United States Navy.
