State Coordinator
Pam Adams has supported Quilts of Valor since 2020 when her husband, an Army Veteran was presented a quilt on a cruise. Pam comes from a military family. Her father and father-in-law both served in the Army National Guard. Her son served in the Marines.  Her and her husband helped their son in law get into the Navy.

Pam was quilting in Maryland as an individual for 4 years and in late summer 2025, Pam went to social media to ask for help in the mission. Over 25 people came to help making quilts. Pam was funding the materials to get quilts made until she raffled off a handmade embroidered flag with the Pledge of Allegiance which allowed the group to start purchasing fabric and batting. With the support of the local American Legion Post 223, Pam now coordinates 2 sew days each month.

Pam is a retired program manager of 45 years IT experience working for Tandem, Dell, Apple, and Hewlett Packard as a contractor or employee. During her employment, Pam held multiple certifications in Project and Program Management, Manufacturing Shop Floor Management, and Efficiency.
