I am a dedicated military spouse and an active member of VFW Post 2391 in St. Augustine, FL, where I previously served as Auxiliary Commander and Treasurer for the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association® Chapter 20-2.
As a parent to five and grandparent to two, I value spending quality time with my family, including our two small dogs, Carter and Schnook. I also enjoy motorcycling with my husband and friends. Inspired by generations of skilled needleworkers in my family, I discovered my passion for quilting in 2018 and joined a QOV group.
My involvement with the Quilts of Valor (QOV) Foundation spans eight years, driven by a deep commitment to quilting and to presenting QOVs to deserving recipients. I was first introduced to QOV through a presentation attended with my husband, a retired Air Force veteran. Motivated by that experience, I made a personal commitment to support the initiative.
Having served in other veteran organizations, I have witnessed firsthand the meaningful impact Quilts of Valor has on recipients. It remains a privilege to participate in presenting these quilts.
