I am a retired veteran from the Alabama National Guard after serving 25 years and two deployments, serving in the medical field as a nurse. I am also a retired elementary autistic behavior teacher. I am a member of the VFW post 4765 Athens, Al as the quartermaster, District 1 quartermaster and the State department programs chairperson.
I am a mother of one son, one grandson and one great granddaughter that I love spending time with, and of course two Italian greyhounds named Tucker and Andrea.
My passion has always been helping our veterans. I have been involved with the QOV for the past 2 years helping Mary Harris and Marty Kent. I am so excited and truly honored and looking forward to this new adventure.
