John Kline is a recently retired US Army Major General with a distinguished career spanning 33 years. As an Aviation Officer, John commanded both air and ground formations at every echelon from platoon to 2-star level accumulating more than 10 years in command and five tours in combat.
John’s final assignment was as the Commanding General of the US Army’s Center for Initial Military Training (CIMT) where for three years he transformed over 400,000 of our Nation’s volunteers into proud US Army Soldiers.
Other key assignments include two years on the Army Staff, Commander of 3rd Combat Aviation Brigade, Deputy Commanding General for the 7th Infantry Division, Operations Officer for the US Army’s Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) and DOD Liaison to the Taliban Political Commission during the US withdrawal.
John is a graduate of Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania. He later earned a Master of Administration from Central Michigan University and Master of Strategic Studies from the Air War College. John is an Army Master Aviator, proud husband, father and avid outdoorsman.
