Robin Koehler is an internationally published quilt designer, teacher, and AQS Certified Quilt Appraiser. She has over 100 published designs, almost half being with internationally renowned publications including as a regular contributor to American Quilter Magazine since 2018.
Robin has vended at International Quilt Market as well as taught at International Quilt Festival and multiple guilds under her business name, NESTLINGS by Robin.
Robin grew up as a military child before joining the US Coast Guard herself. She continued her military support role as spouse to her 30 year US Coast Guard husband, Jim, and mom to 2 amazing military children over 9 assignments covering the east to west coasts and overseas.
During one of their 2 overseas tours, Robin served as a housing liaison between the families and the command. “There is risk and reward, adventure and hardship with this life and I wouldn’t change a moment because being a part of something bigger is what is needed of us all.”
