State Coordinator
Alabama

I am fiercely patriotic and have a passion to always show honor to our nations Veterans!

My friends introduced me to QOVF several years ago right here at Fort Rucker AL in 2012. We were stationed here for the third time. The Outdoor Rec folks were having the annual Wounded Warrior Hunt. Veterans and active duty from Warrior Transition Units from all over the southeast were coming and they thought it would be nice to award QOV’s. It was great! Our guild helped make quilts for this event. Then came the Boll Weevil 100, another event the WTU’s were invited to and QOV’s were awarded. Well I was hooked and when my friend retired, she asked me to help. I became a District Coordinator for the Ft Rucker/Wiregrass Area.

I’ve been an Army wife for 33 years and an Army Mom 11 years! My guys, both AH 64D Apache Longbow Pilots and Instructors, have many combat tours under their belts so this cause is near and dear to my heart. I was able to award my husband his QOV last year when he retired.

This area of the country has many active and retired Veterans, I’m very excited to see what we can do here in Alabama!
