State Coordinator

I have lived in Oklahoma my entire life and have raised three children. I owned an Interior Decorating business in Oklahoma City for nearly 30 years before retiring with my husband, who is a 100% Disabled Veteran, in 2002.

I have been sewing for as long as I can remember and quilting for about 35 years, selling on eBay and through private orders. In 2009, I went back to school and obtained two degrees in accounting and began a tax preparation service. Since this only occupied me for 3 months of the year, I purchased a machine and began Longarm quilting for the public in 2014. Through this outlet I have made many new quilting friends and hope to get several of them to assist me in this endeavor.

My husband is a former VFW Commander and we are active in aiding disabled veterans in getting their disability classification from the VA. We are hoping thru his contacts we can locate several veterans who are deserving of these quilts.

I am so looking forward to helping with the Quilts of Valor Foundation’s projects.
