I am the granddaughter, daughter, niece, aunt and wife of a veteran, and through them, I have ties to all branches of the US Military. So it’s easy to see why my passion for quilting is second only to my passion for recognizing our nation’s Veterans!
Way back in 1992, my sister convinced me to take a quilting class with her and while I walked into that class NEVER thinking the craft would stick , I walked out of the class totally and completely hooked! So when that same sister suggested we engage in Quilts of Valor back in 2014 – I jumped right on board! I’ve led the QOVF group Team Providing Cover since then and have been blessed with the opportunity to do what I love – with people I love – all while giving back to our community in this special way.
Looking forward to working with Pennsylvania quilters to progress the mission of Quilts of Valor and show – in this tangible and very personal way – our appreciation for the sacrifices and service of our country’s service members.
