In honor of Veterans Day, the National Quilt Museum is offering free admission to veterans and active-duty military throughout November. In addition, on Veterans Day, November 11, at 4:30 p.m., the museum will host a Quilts of Valor Award Ceremony, during which eleven service members and veterans will be presented with quilts from the Quilts of Valor Foundation, led by representative Nancy Cann. The ceremony is free and open to the public.
We collaborate with The National Quilt Museum in Paducah, KY, on a special exhibition featuring twelve Quilts of Valor created by our members, to commemorate the Countdown to America250—the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
