One Nation One Mission is our commitment to executing our Mission. Our Service Members and Veterans served our country, often in multiple states during their service and in their lives after their military service. We are fortunate to have wonderful, dedicated and talented members in all 50 states, thus being able to reach out and cover a Service Member or a Veteran where ever they are. Understandably, some states have more need than others for a multitude of reasons. Our geographic diversity is our strength in fulfilling our Mission. We are one team. Coming together to help those areas that need our combined efforts to support and execute our mission is the goal of National Catch Up Day. Please join us in helping our team members cover those Service Members and Veterans in a Quilt of Valor who have been waiting the longest or who have a medical need.
We encourage every member to take part in the National Catch Up effort by making a quilt that is currently in the RED (award nominations over 24 months old) in NAMS (our National Award Management System) by or on June 5 – National QOVF Catch Up Day. These quilts should then be quilted and awarded by December 31, 2026. Members who do not sew can still contribute by assisting with or coordinating a Quilt of Valor presentation in their local area.
Registration is free, and all members are encouraged to participate and can participate at their convenience.
Join us live on Facebook on June 5, 2026, as we will broadcast from the QOVF Board Winterset Retreat.
Members who have questions, or wish to submit a photo of their quilt top may email it to onenationonemission@qovf.org.
