We need to “Catch-up” on the 600+ Service Members and Veterans across the country who have been nominated for over 2 years but have not received their QOV!
Volunteer to make a quilt, block, or long-arm a quilt! Quilts will be directed to where they are needed by your state coordinator. If you are not aware who this is, click here and you can drop them an email or call them if you have quilts, or tops to donate. Quilts will be distributed in your state first, then your area, and then where they are needed nationwide. The state coordinators will help arrange for shipping. If you are a QOVF member and you need supplies (backing, fabric, thread) email onenationonemission@ qovf.org.
Also, we are having a “sew-in” at The Iowa Quilt Festival in Winterset, Iowa on June 5 (the real National “Ketchup” Day!) from 10am – 5pm. Join us at the Iowa Quilt Museum at 68 E. Court Ave. to work on a quilt top, a block, or sew blocks together. Supplies have been donated by our amazing industry sponsors, including sewing machines, or you can bring your own!
Sign up to participate at here. We will keep you updated via email once you have signed up!
Together we can get quilts to these deserving military personal who have served their country so admirably. One Nation One Mission. Members who have questions, or wish to submit a photo of their quilt top may email it to onenationonemission@qovf.org.
