State Coordinator

My Mom taught me to sew and she really enjoyed seeing all the quilts I’ve made for QOVF.  I also make and tie quilts for a local church.  My first quilt was a T-shirt quilt for my son’s high school graduation.

I retired in 2017 after 30 plus years as an Accountant and Auditor.  I also served for three years in the US Army.

My husband and I have been married over 37 years, we have two sons and six grandchildren. I enjoy pickleball, golf and QUILTING.

I joined the Grateful Heart Quilters in 2018 and enjoy making quilt tops. I am also the Presentation Coordinator.  I am responsible for setting up presentations, contacting veterans, and training new presenters.

It is an honor to present QOV quilts, and I really enjoy meeting and getting to know the veterans we award quilts to.  They all have amazing experiences and stories to share.
