The label may be hand written, embroidered, printed, or purchased.

What to include on your label
- Date range that it took to make the quilt
- Place where made. If longarmer/quilt-topper live in different locales, put both.
- Name of Quilt
- Name of Quilt-topper, age, city/state
- Name of machine quilter, age, city/state
- The words "Presented To:" followed by a blank space. This is so the recipient's name can be inserted at a later date.
- Dedication. This can be one dedication or one from each of the QOV makers
