Labeling requirements and suggestions.

The label may be hand written, embroidered, printed, or purchased.

• must say "Quilt of Valor"
  
• documents quilt, quiltmakers
  
• personalizes the quilt for the recipient
  
• validates to recipient that quilt is official
  
• suggestions of what to include:

What to include on your label

1. Date range that it took to make the quilt
2. Place where made.  If longarmer/quilt-topper live in different locales, put both.
3. Name of Quilt
4. Name of Quilt-topper, age, city/state
5. Name of machine quilter, age, city/state
6. The words "Presented To:" followed by a blank space.  This is so the recipient's name can be inserted at a later date.
7. Dedication.  This can be one dedication or one from each of the QOV makers
