Introducing Lenny Truitt, who is in charge of financial matters.

I became involved with Quilts of Valor by association with Catherine first. I stopped by a local quilt guild, one I am not a member of, to check it out. Met Catherine, never went back to the guild and kept the friendship. About one year later, the bookkeeper was moving and Catherine asked me if I knew anyone knowledgable in the field. And the rest, as they say, is history.

I have no family in the military, but I am from Viet Nam generation and remember vividly how our servicemen were treated upon their return home. I wanted them to be remembered kindly and with respect .

As for me, when I am not making QOVs, I can be found spinning, knitting, quilting, reading or taking care of the animals – the dogs, sheep and angora rabbits. And some times even sleeping!
