Cut out your fabric label. Make sure you take into consideration that you have to turn the margin under to be able to sew it onto the quilt.

Cut out freezer paper the same size of your fabric. Iron it on the WRONG side of your treated fabric label. You will be printing on the RIGHT side.

Place your fabric on freezer paper to see how big it should be. It's important to get the freezer paper so that it extends a little over the fabric. This will help it feed into your printer without getting all wrinkled up.

Iron freezer paper to the WRONG side of the fabric. Remember you will be printing on the right side.

Compose your label on a word processing program. Be sure to put in your printer measurements so that the text will stay within the confines of your label and its margins. Here you can have lots of fun playing around with different fonts and colors.

TEST PRINT. Do this first on a regular sheet of paper. Put that on your treated blank, unprinted fabric label. Is it the right size? Do you have room for margins on all sides so you'll be able to sew the label to the quilt? If so, you're ready for printing on the fabric!

Print! You may have to do this a couple of times before you get perfection.
