As someone who has spent many years in the quilting industry, I always want more quilters in the world, and I know people often start quilting because they wish to make a quilt for a special person or a special reason. I believe a great reason to learn to quilt is to be able to make a Quilt of Valor. I also believe it’s important for the quilting industry as a whole to be aware of our mission and our efforts so they can support us and partner with us.
My personal mission is to encourage avid quilters to take non-quilters under their wings to help them make a Quilt of Valor.
